18CI776 Online Textbook Resource for Educational Technology
Welcome to your our class wiki. We will be creating an online textbook to highlight the research and emerging trends of various educational technologies. Each person will contribute a web page on an educational technology. My hope is that you will learn about the range of technologies available to you and discover how to evaluate, utilize, and reflect on research on these technologies. It is my hope that this resource will be useful to all of you in our class, as you continue on in your careers, and that you share this resource with your fellow teachers.
In addition to the online textbook, you will also create reflective blogs of your readings in the course. Today, you will begin these blogs by creating an introduction of yourself. First, click New Page, title it with your first and last name, type "Textbook Authors" in the Add Tag field -- this is what makes it show up under that navigation section on the left. And, then you can start your introduction. Your introduction must include a description of yourself, a photo, and links to your favorite sites. You can use my page as an example.
